Collaborates with internal and external testing centres, engineering departments, suppliers and process/technology developers with a view to meeting project requirements and objectives.

Ensures submission of detailed engineering reports and patent applications with a mind on the suitability of submitting a formal research paper. 

The Role

Key Responsibilities:      

• Implement and develop CAE methodologies and procedures to support the on-going development of road and race products
• Utilise FEA and CFD tools to carry out structural, aero and thermal simulations to predict and optimise products and features 
• Develop novel solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
• Interpret technical requirements to ensure investigations achieve their objectives effectively
• Coordinate and conduct physical testing and data acquisition, both on and off site
• Analise and interrogate data
• Produce technical reports and presentations for internal and external groups 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Adhere to industry specific quality standards (TS16949 / ISO9001)
