AP Racing is proud to offer an advanced analysis placement opportunity to undergraduates who are seeking a year’s industrial experience within a globally recognised company. These placements are to begin in July 2025 (For approximately 13 months).

Role

  • Creation and implementation of simulation methodologies to support product development
  • Involvement with concept generation, progression and evaluation of performance
  • Development of data analysis tools to evaluate internal and external test results
  • Liaising both internally and externally across various departments, suppliers and customers

Desirable Skills

  • Finite Element Analysis
  • MATLAB (or similar e.g. Python)
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics
  • Data Analysis
  • Microsoft office

What we want from you

  • Undergraduate studying an engineering degree for at least 2 years, on track for a 2:1 or above - Automotive, Aerospace, Mechanical, Motorsport or similar
  • Willing to learn new skills, good at problem solving and coming up with creative solutions
  • Passion for engineering, willing to work proactively and self-motivated
  • Able to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Applicants must be returning to university to finish their degree after completion of the placement in order to be considered eligible
  • Applicants must ensure that they are eligible to work in the United Kingdom during the placement period.
